Hello! And welcome to Chefbay. My name is Chef Nifiea, I have 29 years experience working in the catering industry acquire different techniques, skills and cultures. My speciality is Caribbean cuisine but is infused with European, French, American influences. In my early years after completing Westminster college, I was fortunate enough to land a position at the well known private prestige Carlton Club where I worked under executive Chef Mark Jackman for 3 years. Throughout my 20 years experience I worked alongside executive Chef Collin Brown, which still remains one of the top Caribbean Chefs in the UK. I now have a great love and passion for baking my own style of patisserie, which is now in demand with friend’s, family and clientels, since the beginning of lockdown. I’m a motivated individual with a drive to work and achieve great dishes. I now teach and educated others of all ages on how to create and live a healthy nutritious lifestyle through my cooking and baking. My main focus is to now prepare delicious and colourful food to make it fun and appealing to everyone who would like to enjoy how to make Caribbean food. I’ve now teamed up with Chef Wayne Sebastian and Chefbay which had provided me with a platform to showcase my talents.
